With a brisk breeze and a fresh coating of white snowflakes, Santa Claus arrived in Ripley riding on Fire Engine 31 on Saturday afternoon, December 5, 2009. Accompanied by several beauty queens, a marching band, horse drawn wagons and a police escort, Santa made his way through town toward the Alpine Theater, where he would meet with all the good boys and girls in Ripley.
