Boy Scout Dinner at Parchment Valley Conference Center 2011

The Allohak Council and the Little Kanawha District of the Boy Scouts of America held their 23rd Annual Distinguished Community Service Award Dinner recently at Parchment Valley Conference Center. Over 250 Boy Scouts and supporters attended the event, at which Mitch Carmichael served as the master of ceremonies. Highlights included a publicity video produced by a pair of Eagle Scouts, a silent auction, recognition of Scouts who attained the Eagle rank during the past year, and music by Tyler Davis, of the group Crashing Jericho.

The evening concluded with Rob Fisher's introduction of Cheryl Donohoe, the 2011 recipient of the Distinguished Community Service Award. Cheryl is an outstanding member of our community, and reflects a high standard of values worthy of being associated with the Boy Scouts of America.
