Mountaineer Photo Excursions!
West Virginia Fine Photography has built upon our experience and has been offering travel-based photography workshops since 2012. Mountaineer Photo Excursions is about teaching and learning in interesting and exciting locations.
Whether you like the beach, the mountains, wildlife, waterfalls, history or just visiting somewhere different, we have a workshop that will fit your interest. We don't just take you to beautiful places...we teach you to have a better understanding of how to use your cameras, as well as new photo techniques, to preserve and share your adventures!
Ron Gaskins and Amanda Haddox provide instruction in these photography workshops geared toward the novice to intermediate photographer; we offer experienced photographers the access and guidance to find interesting and attractive venues across the eastern United States. We have visited at least 10 states, leading over 40 workshops, and have shared information and techniques to help clients improve their skills in nature, wildlife, history and travel photography.
In addition to our workshops, we are also offering photo classes, in cooperation with area colleges and other organizations. During 2020, we also added online classes.
We also have an occasional newsletter, "Mile Markers." Mile Markers includes a recap of our recent workshop, a look ahead at the next couple events, as well as a helpful article on photography or travel...and of course, pictures!
