2023 - Sissonville Fire & Rescue School
With over 500 registered students, this year's school trained another group of first responders from all across West Virginia. The Sissonville Fire & Rescue School has teamed up with West Virginia Public Service Training to offer certifications for most courses.
Firefighting Training Headquarters previously released a statement saying that "Sissonville Fire and Rescue School offers one of the best fire academies in the US."
The School operates annually during the first two weekends of March.
