Sissonville Fire & Rescue School 2013
The 7th Annual Sissonville Fire & Rescue School was held during the first two weekends of March. Firefighters, law enforcement and emergency medical services gathered over the first two weekends in March to learn new information and practice new techniques to protect and save lives.
More than 700 first responders from West Virginia and five other states participated in the courses. West Virginia University Fire Service Extension has provided simulators and equipment to help with the training. Instructors from both West Virginia and neighboring states are working with local teachers associated with the Sissonville VFD.
